Official Shimano丨 Tranx 300, 301, 400, 401 Replacement Power Handle 10SWG

Looking to change the handle on your Shimano Tranx Reel?  This Shimano Tranx Power Handle is OEM and is made to fit all Tranx 300A and 400A size reels.  This handle fits the Tranx 300, 301, 300HG, 301HG, 400, 401, 400HG, 401HG.

This Shimano made handle is easy to replace, just remove your existing nut lock screw, the nut lock plate, and the chrome nut. Remove your existing handle and replace it with the new handle.  Be careful that the drag star doesn't pop off, it has a spring under it which gives it pressure from below.  Replace the parts you took off making sure not to over tighten the chrome nut. The nut lock plate might take a little adjustment so the plate nut screw lines up with the screw hole.

The version is a double handle to give you better balance and more refined retrieves for fishing many types of lures.  The paddle handle works best when working lures or when you just don't need the larger power handle.  We find the paddle handle has better balance but not as much torque.
